چکیده
Background: Kidney renal clear cell carcinoma (KIRC) originates from proximal tubular cells and is the most common subtype of carcinoma. KIRC characterized by changes in lipid metabolism, obesity a risk factor for it. C1q And TNF Related 1 (C1QTNF1), novel adipokine member TNF-related protein (CTRP) family, has been shown to affect progression various cancers. However, role C1QTNF1 not studied. Methods: The Wilcoxon rank sum test was used analyze expression tissues normal tissues. relationship between clinicopathological features levels also examined logistic regression test. In addition, effect on prognosis patients analyzed Kaplan-Meier (KM). Associated with Poor Prognosis in Clear Cell Renal Cell Carcinoma
Renal cell carcinoma (RCC) is the most common malignant tumour of adult kidney (Eble et al., 2004), and RCC’s histopathology is subdivided into various categories, which clear cell renal cell carcinoma (ccRCC) is the most common pathological category, accounting for 70-80% of all RCCs (Young et al., 2001; Matsuura et al., 2011). In the last decades, there have been immense improvements in the t...
متن کاملDecreased TCL6 expression is associated with poor prognosis in patients with clear cell renal cell carcinoma
One-third of clear cell renal cell carcinoma (ccRCC) patients present with metastasis at the time of diagnosis. The prognosis of these patients is poor. To identify potential prognostic biomarkers and therapeutic targets for ccRCC, we re-evaluated published long non-coding RNA (lncRNA) expression profiling data from the Gene Expression Omnibus and ArrayExpress database. We found that five lncRN...
متن کاملIncreased expression of MUC3A is associated with poor prognosis in localized clear-cell renal cell carcinoma
MUC3A is a membrane-associated mucin that recent evidence reveals the role of MUC3A in pathogenesis and progression of cancers. To evaluate the association between MUC3A expression with overall survival (OS) and recurrence-free survival (RFS) in patients with localized clear-cell renal cell carcinoma (ccRCC), we retrospectively detected MUC3A expression in samples of 384 postoperative localized...
متن کاملHigh expression of FUT3 is linked to poor prognosis in clear cell renal cell carcinoma
BACKGROUND AND PURPOSE Some of the fucosylation catalyzed by fucosyltransferase-III mediates the epithelial-mesenchymal transition and enhances tumor cell-macrophage signaling, which promotes malignant transforming and immune evasion. The aim of the study was to investigate the association between the expression of fucosyltransferase-III and clinical outcomes of patients with clear-cell renal c...
متن کاملHigh expression of Twist is associated with tumor aggressiveness and poor prognosis in patients with renal cell carcinoma.
AIMS Twist has been reported to play crucial roles for malignant aggressiveness; however, detailed pathological significance of Twist in renal cell carcinoma (RCC) is not fully understood. The present study was to clarify clinical significance and molecular functions of Twist in patients with RCC. METHODS Twist expression was examined by immunohistochemical techniques in 156 formalin-fixed sp...
